1. Acceptance

By using ConvertKiwi (convertkiwi.com), operated by Thiago in Florida, United States, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old to use the site. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. The service

ConvertKiwi offers free online tools to convert and compress files and to get YouTube transcripts. We may change, limit or stop any tool at any time, without notice.

3. Permitted use

Only use the tools with files and content you have the right to process. You may not use the site to infringe copyright, share illegal content, upload malware, overload or disrupt the service, or run automated bulk conversions, and you may not use it to break third-party terms of service, including YouTube's.

4. Your files

Your files remain yours. We claim no ownership over anything you upload or convert, and we use your files only to perform the conversion you asked for. They are deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. The "YouTube to Text" tool

This tool shows only the public captions that YouTube itself makes available, without downloading the original audio or video. You are responsible for how you use the transcript and must respect the content creator's rights.

6. Service limits

To keep the service available for everyone, we limit file sizes, the number of files per conversion and the number of requests per period.

7. No warranty

ConvertKiwi is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or that every conversion will be perfect (for example, with damaged files or videos without captions). Always keep your own copy of the original file.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ConvertKiwi and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the site.

9. Content removal / DMCA

If you hold a copyright and believe some use of the site infringes your rights, contact us through the Contact page with the details needed for review and, where applicable, removal.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the courts located in Florida.
